By Pat Maurer Correspondent What started out as a possible kidnapping – wasn’t an abduction after all, according to a release from the Clare County Sheriff’s Department. On Monday, around 6 p.m., a Harrison resident called 911 to report that they heard a “young child screaming that she was being kidnapped.” They said they believed the child may have left the area in an older orange Dodge pickup. Deputies responding to the call located the truck. The truck, occupants and residence where the truck was found were checked during the investigation, and Deputies determined that there wasn’t an attempted abduction. [...]
