By Pat Maurer Review Correspondent William Sexton, Jr., who pled “no contest” October 1 to two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the third degree, was sentenced by Judge Thomas Evans November 5 to 8 to 15 years in prison with credit for 228 days served, assessed $68 in State costs, $130 crime victim rights fee, a $500 fine, $500 in court costs and lifetime electronic monitoring. Sexton, 64, was arrested March 22 when the Clare County Sheriff’s Department investigated a complaint that he had sexually assaulted two children over a period of several years.
